My visit here was in May 25. The accommodation, facilities and the room were all good. My experience with the staff was also good with one exception. One young man working in the bar area was far more concerned with flirting with the receptionist than actually serving. This went on for some time, I wanted to pay and even approached to pay - I was ignored! We decided to eat within the bar area rather than the restaurant, which was a mistake and a shame as this was the only blemish on a very good stay. A lack of training? Poor management? Or just a rude and horny young man?

A beautiful setting in the Grand Valley, with easy access to Palisade and the interstate. Food was incredible!! Even the most “simple sides, main dishes were WAY beyond expectations. The staff were so friendly, helpful and quick to offer assistance. Room was spotless, quiet and easy access to the hot tub. The wine selection was lovely and delicious! If I could give 6 stars, I would!!

I can't tell you how many times we have driven past this delightfully located Inn. This year, we finally stopped in. After the first night, we knew we would come back! The reception is efficient and friendly. You get a complimentary glass of wine if you wish. I enjoy the rooms; they are not new, but very well maintained (as is the entire property) and cozy. The first time we visited, we had dinner in the adjoining restaurant. The food was good, and the service was just fine. The young men/waiters had pleasant personalities, making our evening enjoyable. I must mention, too, that the little gift store stocks a small amount of food. I tried the frozen cheesecake (homemade), and it was such a treat! Waking up and looking out the window at the massive Mt Garfield is yet another treat! If you are considering a stay here, don't be like us and drive by, I encourage you to stop and enjoy the charming Inn and the surrounding town of Palisade!

Superb visit by 18 of our members for a Wine and Wellness Escape! From the time we booked our visit until we checked out we had the best experience! Our dinner at Caroline’s was delicious and the wait staff took excellent care of us. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, accommodations, service and hospitality were exceptional. We are considering a return trip.

I loved staying at the Wine Country Inn. At first there was an issue with us having a dog and the type of room we got but a quick phone call with Rosemary saved the day! She was so helpful and kind. The excellent customer service continued as we checked in and we got there just in time for a free wine tasting! The room was comfortable and spacious. The location couldn't be more perfect. We were walking distance to a lot of great local spots. We will absolutely be staying here anytime we are back in Palisade!

The Wine Country Inn was the perfect setting for our weekend wine trip in the Palisades. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub and pool after a day of wine tasting. It was everything we hoped for — can’t wait to come back! ?

We stumbled upon this charming inn during our road trip, and it truly did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the beautifully kept grounds set the tone for a relaxing stay. The on-site restaurant exceeded our expectations with a top-notch dining experience, both in flavor and atmosphere. Service was warm and attentive, check-in was seamless, and our room was immaculate every detail thoughtfully cared for. The surrounding city is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. This hidden gem has officially been added to our list of places to return to, and we look forward to experiencing it again on future trips.

This is THE PLACE to stay for the best Palisade experience. It's close to I70 and easily assessable with lots of parking. The building is in the middle of a vineyard which you can roam as you please and every direction has rows and rows of grape vines. They also have a small garden on the northeast corner near the gazebo. Check-in included a glass of wine which was a perfect way to start a visit in Palisade. Their free breakfast in the morning was full of good food options and fresh fruits, definitely not the same as some cheap-o motel breakfast. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. Can't wait to visit again!

After being evacuated from the fires in Meeker, we retreated to Grand Junction. Unfortunately we could not find an open hotel. At the end of our rope, we looked in Palisade and called The Wine Country Inn. Stressed and overcome with anxiety, the office girls went above and beyond to make sure we had a roof over our heads. We weren’t sure how long we would need to stay, but they made sure to hold rooms for us just in case we needed them. The things we didn’t grab from home were readily available in their lobby store, the restaurants were delicious, and the property was gorgeous! When our keys didn’t work from moving rooms, the maintenance team happily got us new ones so we didn’t have to grab them. The housekeeper gals were so sweet and generous with toiletries and daily upkeep. The experience we had during this extremely stressful time will not be forgotten. We are in deep gratitude to all of the staff (Front desk gals, Housekeeping girls, Maintenance team, Restaurant staff). Thank you, thank you, thank you! ?
